2022 – Tashona Trim
Tashona Trim (17), traveled from Guyana, South America to Austin for evaluation under the SpineHope program. On November 7, 2022, Tashona received a successful corrective spine surgery for her severe scoliosis. This operation was her dream…she was tired of the pain, shortness of breath, and contending with other struggles related to having an 85+ degree scoliosis curve. Being from a country without any spine specialists, she is grateful for the volunteer heroes and organizations that made her dream come true in Texas.
